Owner App Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the CleaningMetrics mobile app for business owners (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects your information. The App lets owners run their cleaning business on the go — view their dashboard and reporting, manage bookings and the calendar, see payouts and customers, and switch between locations. It is operated by CleaningMetrics as part of your CleaningMetrics account.

Information we collect

The App collects only what it needs to run your business:

  • Account information. Your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify you to your CleaningMetrics workspace. Authentication is handled securely; the App never stores your password in plain text.
  • Your business data. The App displays data that already belongs to your CleaningMetrics account — bookings, customers, cleaners, payouts, quotes, leads, and reporting. This data is shown to you, the account owner; the App does not sell it or share it with third parties for advertising.
  • Device & push token. If you enable notifications, the App stores a push-notification token for your device so we can alert you to business events (a new booking, a cancellation, and similar). You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

The App does not request access to your location, camera, or photo library, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use it

Information is used solely to operate the App for you: to authenticate you, show your business data, let you take owner actions (confirming, cancelling, or rescheduling bookings, recording payments, switching locations), and to send the notifications you opt into. Payment processing for your customers is handled by Stripe under its own terms; the App opens Stripe in a secure in-app browser and never sees full card numbers.

How it's stored and protected

Your data is stored on CleaningMetrics’ secured infrastructure and is access-controlled so that you only ever see data for the workspace(s) you own. The App talks to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and your login session is kept in your device’s secure storage.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make the product work — for example our cloud database and authentication provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and the push notification service (Expo / Apple / Google) — and only as needed to provide the App.

Data retention & deletion

Your business data persists for as long as your CleaningMetrics account is active. Push tokens are removed when you sign out or when a device becomes unreachable. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

Children

The App is intended for use by adults who own or operate a cleaning business and is not directed to children under 16.
